Studio Programs is found under the division title of Education and Public Programs. This department offers a wide variety of art courses to adults, seniors, teens and children, Offering programs year round, these classes are taught by experienced, practicing artists. The artist-in-residence program is also found within this department. Classes are offered in a variety of subjects and levels of experience from Beginner to Advanced. Special courses and workshops are also scheduled to complement specific exhibitions. As well scholarships are available and awarded to individuals who show ability in art and who are otherwise financially unable to attend the programs. This fonds was originally a subseries for the Education and Public Programs sous-fonds.

Consists of correspondence and records concerning the planning of exhibitions, public programming, special events, Grants and capital campaigns. Records of long-range strategic planning and final reports are included, as well as some records of the various arts/museum organizations with which Directors have been involved.

Consists of minutes of Curatorial Department meetings; Curatorial Policies; Curatorial Departmental Reports; the records of the various operating committees which over time have been responsible for coordinating the planning of Gallery Exhibitions such as the Exhibition and Events Programming and Core Em. Logistics Committee and its successors; the records of Catalogues and Publications; the records of Conservation Services; the records of Curators and Associate Curators, records of the Curator in Residence Program; the records of the Curatorial Units. The records of Exhibits which include the creation of associated catalogues; the records of Extension Services; records of Gallery Registration. Other records relating to Curatorial/Exhibitions as may be selected for permanent preservation.
The Winnipeg Art Gallery

The collection consists of over 200 clothing patterns in a variety of styles created by Inuit artisans to depict differences in clothing styles and construction in various regions of the north. The collection also includes photographs depicting skin preparation and pictorial instructions for measuring and pattern layouts. There is also one artifact.
