The Canadian Society for Education through Art (CSEA) is a voluntary association founded in Quebec City in 1955. It is the only Canadian national organization dedicated to art education. Membership represents all levels of education: elementary, secondary, college/university, ministries of education, art galleries/museums, and community education.
George Swinton was a member of the association from its inception and was active on the association’s executive in its earliest days, helping to organize several national conferences.
