Consists of minutes of Curatorial Department meetings; Curatorial Policies; Curatorial Departmental Reports; the records of the various operating committees which over time have been responsible for coordinating the planning of Gallery Exhibitions such as the Exhibition and Events Programming and Core Em. Logistics Committee and its successors; the records of Catalogues and Publications; the records of Conservation Services; the records of Curators and Associate Curators, records of the Curator in Residence Program; the records of the Curatorial Units. The collection consists of letters, diaries, family photographs dating from the 1880s, business papers and other memorabilia pertaining to the Brigden family and the Brigden graphic arts firm. Items include letters from a number of important Canadian artists. Also described here is memorabilia concerning the Rev. Thomas Brigden and Kingswood School; Cornelius Fielder; and the Winnipeg Community Players.
