Items described here consist of correspondence on a variety of topics and other materials pertaining to a variety of organisations with an interest in First Nations art and culture. These include Rothman’s Canada, for whom George Swinton created a catalogue. Topics are wide-ranging and include materials that pertain to items also described elsewhere in this fonds.

The materials described here consist of periodicals, off prints, government information circulars and other occasional publications from a variety of sources on the topics of Inuit art, the geography of circumpolar regions, and circumpolar culture and traditions. Also described here are materials relating to Canada’s southern First Nations. Items include an assortment of newsletters and other periodic publications as well as press releases, flyers and circulars from both governmental and non-governmental sources. In the case of periodical publications, most date from the 1960s to the early 1980s and complete runs are not present.
