Scope and content

The items described here consist of pattern pieces for a Kamik drawn by Annie Sevoee Alikasuak, Ulayok, and Martha Koomak of Paallirmuit at Arviat. The notes on Annie's pieces indicate that depilated skin is to be used. The complete pair of Kamiks can be found at the Bata shoe museum and were worn in the movie Kamik. The pieces are on adhesive paper backing. The folder consists of seven pattern pieces and two original folder labels.
